Excuse my English, I am losing it. I speak in incomplete sentences now. Emily and I arrived in Portugal at about 5pm this Sunday. (Our time). That was over 24 hours of traveling. We are still very very exhausted, but had the opportunity to sleep until 10:30am this morning.
It is beautiful here and the people are friendly. Supposedly, i eat funnily according to the Portuguese. Funny enough to laugh at me. My new phrase is: "I am confused." Hopefully i'll start to pick the language up better.
We had a layover in Germany - it was awesome. Everyone is tall and blonde. The boys were very fine. And the women were so TALL! all of them could be models, no lie. The paper towels were softer than the toilet paper, though.
Today we woke up at 10:30 (which i mentioned earlier), and then walked around doing random things around the camp. at 12 we closed the reception area and got on our bikes and rode to lunch by the river. Afterwards, we went to the beach and played in the water for a bit. Topless beaches... hm. :/ We'll work on and off at the reception until 7pm tonight, when we will go to the beach and then dinner. then from 9pm-12 we will take shifts as to who does what. i can't wait to sleep... i can barely walk.

ReplyDeleteI will enjoy reading about your adventure! I remember when I was in Europe in college. I was in France and felt huge there. Then we got on a train headed for Belgium and picked up lots of German and Dutch passengers and I felt normal sized! Amazing feeling for me.

Well, I say as long as most of the food is getting in your mouth and not on your shirt (or baby bump in my case), you're eating just fine. Will pray you catch up on your rest! Sounds like y'all are going to have a blast. Thanks for doing the blog so we can keep up with the latest!
